Heiman Basketball Camp is a family-owned and run camp. From the conception in 1998 until today, we pride ourselves on personal experiences and a community-based approach. We aim to hire Heiman Basketball camp alumni who want to experience some of the magic as adults they experienced while growing up.
MEET THE DIRECTORS
Robyn (Heiman) Lewis
Admission Director
A HBC original camper, Robyn is the daughter of Rob Heiman, the camp founder. Some of her best childhood memories are on that basketball court, and even a recent one in 2013 when she married her husband Mike on the property! Recently moving back to Bainbridge from California with her own family, her education administration background and love for sports, it has all come back full circle. She looks forward to continuing the Heiman Basketball Camp legacy that her father started and her brother carried.
Rob Heiman
Property Manager
If it were not for Rob Heiman, the Heiman Basketball Camp would not exist today. He started bringing young basketball players to the court the first summer it was built, and continues the tradition every year.
Rob not only supervises the day-to-day activities at the camp, he also maintains the property and continues to improve it each summer in an effort to create an experience unlike anything else in Northeast Ohio!
Josh Kain
Boys Camp Director
Josh Kain is a graduate from the University of Mount Union. Josh Played college basketball for 4 years at Walsh University as well as the University of Mount Union. Josh served as a varsity student assistant his last year at Mount Union. To Josh basketball is not just a game, but a lifestyle. Having a meaningful part in a kids life is a feeling you never get tired of. That is what makes this job so special. I’m looking forward to watching everyone compete and get better this summer. Mackaya Paglia
Girls Camp Director
Micayla Paglia attended Heiman Camp every year growing up and is beyond excited to be able to lead it now for the younger girls! She has played basketball her entire life and now attends The Ohio State University as a junior. She is studying Health Science on a pre occupational therapy track! She’s looking forward to having a lot of fun with the girls at Heiman this summer!
Anthony Yohman

Anthony will be a sophomore in college in the fall and plans to study business. He’s loved working for HBC! He played basketball at Kenston for the two years and loved working with kids and helping them get better at basketball.
Emily Kratzert
Girls Assistant Camp Director
Emily has played basketball her whole life and went to camp every summer. She is super excited to lead the camp she once attended! Currently, she attends the University of Tennessee and no longer plays but is excited to teach and get to know the younger girls. She can’t wait to watch them improve and have fun throughout camp!

Holden Kajfasz
Holden has played basketball his entire life and went to Heiman camp for many years as a kid. He just finished his junior season at NDCL and will be a second time counselor.
Paige White
Paige has played basketball since she was seven years old, and has been at Kenston since the first grade. This will be her third year as a counselor and she couldn’t be more excited!
Brooke Pagon
Brooke is a graduate from Kenston High School. She’s played varsity basketball since sophomore year and AAU basketball for 5 years. She attended Heiman camp in her youth and has been a counselor since her freshman year.
Ramsey Smith
Ramsey is a graduate from Kenston High School. She’s played varsity basketball all four years of high school and played varsity soccer since her freshman year as well. She attended Heiman Camp from 4th-8th grade and she’s been helping as a counselor since 8th grade.
Ryan Curtiss
Ryan is going to be a rising senior at Chagrin Falls high school. He’s been playing basketball since a very young age and currently playing his second year of varsity at Chagrin. He attended camp in 5th and 6th grade which is the reason
he wanted to become a counselor. This summer will be his second year as a counselor.
Chris Collins
Holden has been playing basketball since 5th and has always loved playing the game. He also enjoys teaching kids to love the game, which is his reason why he wanted to start coaching at HBC!
Jackson Allotta
Jackson Allotta is a sophomore at Kenston High School and was a varsity player last year as a freshman. Jackson also played travel basketball and AAU for over 4 years. As a kid he attended HBC in summers and had a great time doing it every year. Jackson is looking forward to the summer and is very excited to coach everyone!
